Other Religions

We would like to consider ourselves able to co-exist with most other religions. As a member of our church you may confess to any other religion as long as you share our beliefs. The only thing we require is that if that religion has some kind of holy book, you read it once for yourself, with an open mind. The problems that exist with many religions today, lie not in the religions but in the interpretations that some people have done. We would like our members to judge for themselves what the message in that book is.

Some religions share parts with eachother.
Some, like christianity, sionism and islam, share the same god, others share values.

What all religions have in common is this:
All religions contains and preserves a set of laws or moral values for some soceity. No soceity or community can exist without a common set of rules that all members agree upon, or at least follows. Religion has in all times served the purpose to maintain those rules, thereby maintaining the community. A religion that has got rules/laws that are bad for the community will disappear with it's community. So all major religions today have some values and oppinions (wisdom of ages) worth listening to.

We have little or no understanding for people who do not see the beauty and good for mankind of christianitys message of love, or the buddhists respect for all life. It is also our sincerely hope that those who practice other religions understand and respect our calling to preserve the thoughts and knowledge of humankind.

Just because they're not on your road doesn't mean they've gotten lost."
