What separated our ancestors from being just another animal and
separates us from our ancestors are the amount of knowledge
contained and preserved in society.
To summarise,
we belive that by gathering and creating information
and making sure it is not lost for future generations,
we ensure survival of our species as the dominant
lifeform of this planet.
We also belive that by promoting sciencentific research
(the creation of new information/knowledge), humanity
will be able to develop further and possibly spread beyond
this planet.
Knowledge is the information that is widely spread and used in
a society, increasing the amount of available information does
not automatically increase or change the amount of knowledge in
a society.
The later requires an conscious effort in education and
establishing contact with researchers.
Our ultimate goals are:
Ensuring survival of the human race
Making sure old knowledge is not lost and have to be
rediscovered.
Improving conditions of life on this planet.
Our methods to do this are:
Supporting research/projects in related areas, as medecine,
genetics, biology and environmental issues.
Supporting other advanced scientific research and projects
Investing money in companies doing the above
Spreading information gathered from the above
Gathering information and keeping it secure
Educating our members as well as trying to increase the
education in society.
Allowing scientists/researchers to utilise our library and
aquired information.
